A glass column ringed with chrome
Each tier is a cylinder made of fine glass rods, held at the top by a polished chrome-plated steel ring. The drums are stacked with a diameter that varies from one tier to the next, and the last one ends in points. The chrome chain extends the vertical line up to the ceiling.
Eighteen light sources, variable intensity
The 18 E14 lampholders each take a maximum of 60 W; bulbs are to be purchased separately. The supplier states that it can be used with a dimmer, which is useful for a chandelier of this output: with dimmable LEDs, the column goes from reception lighting to a soft night light for the staircase.
Weight and ceiling height
The chandelier weighs 30 kg: the fixing must be anchored into the ceiling structure and installed by an electrician. Excluding the chain, it measures 177.2 cm; with the chain, the total height is adjustable from 188.1 to 375.6 cm. Check that the bottom of the chandelier will stay above head height on the staircase or in the hall.
