Square Surface-Mounted Square Spotlight 25 cm, Extra-Flat GX53 Plate

A flat square pierced by a single oculus

The Square comes down to one shape: a square plate with sharp edges and a circular cut-out in the centre. On the white background, a silver leaf decoration covers the surface and shows slightly uneven shades. According to the British retailer, the finish is applied and worked by hand, so no two pieces are ever quite identical.

Flat GX53 lamp supplied with the spotlight

The GX53 cap takes a puck-shaped lamp, which explains the fixture's slim profile. The 7 W lamp is included. The IP20 rating makes this model suitable for dry rooms only: living room, bedroom, home office, hallway.

Dimensions and fixing

Allow for 25 cm per side, 3 cm in height and 1 kg in weight. The spotlight is screwed directly to the ceiling, with no recessing; as a Class I appliance, it must be connected to the earth wire. In a home office, line up two or three above the work surface to spread the light.
