About this light

A LED floor lamp with a chrome stem, the Remy ends in a hexagonal column set with clear glass crystals that break up the light. There is no lampshade: the light source sits inside the tube and sparkles through the facets. At 151 cm tall with a 23 cm base, it slips into a narrow corner, a hallway or beside a TV unit.

Description

A bar of crystals on top of a slender stem

The round chrome base supports a very thin, unadorned stem that rises to the light head. The head is a hexagonal mild steel tube, 7 cm in diameter, to which rectangular glass crystals are attached. From a distance, the head forms a sparkling column, more decorative than practical.

Warm white LED and dimming

The integrated LED, supplied with the lamp, uses 14.1 W for 1721 lm, in 3000 K warm white. Its brightness is dimmable, so in the evening you can keep just a discreet sparkle. Light radiates in all directions through the glass, with no directed beam: it softly lights a corner of the room but does not work as a reading light. IP20 rating, for dry rooms.

Small footprint

The 23 cm base is enough to keep it stable. Placed in a corner of the living room or at the end of a hallway, it dresses a bare wall. Avoid placing it right next to a screen: the reflections from the crystals would stay in your field of vision.
