Black slatted garden bollard light Bollards, glass diffuser, 45 cm

A little pagoda in cast aluminium

The head echoes the silhouette of a pagoda: a conical cap, then three tiered circular baffles around the glass cylinder. Below, a smooth column runs down to a round base that flares outwards. The whole piece is in black-finish cast aluminium.

Light directed towards the path

A single E27 lampholder, rated for 60 W maximum. As the glass is clear, the bulb is visible between the slats: choose a 2700 K LED, preferably a filament type, for a soft result. The baffles direct most of the light towards the ground, around the base of the bollard. IP44 rating: it withstands rain, exposed along a path. It is Class I, and therefore must be earthed.

Positioning in the garden

45 cm high by 17 × 17 cm, 1.2 kg: this is a low bollard, in scale with a flower bed or a border. Allow for a slab or concrete block to secure the base, and a buried duct to bring in the cable. Along a path, a spacing of 3 to 4 m lets the pools of light meet on the ground.
