About this light

45 cm garden bollard light in black cast aluminium, recognisable by its top cut at an angle. Beneath the sloping face, a white diffuser can be glimpsed between several rings that act as baffles. It takes an E27 bulb and lights the edge of a path, a step or the foot of a flower bed.

Description

Black column sliced at an angle

The cylindrical shaft ends in an oblique cut: the top forms a tilted ellipse, framed by a rim. Just below, evenly spaced horizontal rings reveal the white diffuser. At the bottom, a wider disc anchors the column. The whole is in black cast aluminium, with no ornament.

An E27 bulb under a diffuser

The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; the bollard light is supplied without a bulb. It operates at fixed brightness: for a soft light along a path, choose a low-wattage 2700 K E27 LED from the outset. The white polycarbonate diffuser softens the light source and hides the filament. IP44 protects it from rain and splashes. Class I: the earth must be connected.

Positioning when installing

The bollard light is 45 cm high and 22 cm at its widest point, and weighs 2.2 kg. When fixing it, turn the angled face towards the walkway: the head reads best from this angle. Provide a stable base and a buried cable supply in conduit.
