Bollards Garden Bollard Light, Black, 73 cm, Louvred Head and Clear Glass

Black pagoda on a slender shaft

From a round, flared base, a slim column rises to the light head. The head stacks three horizontal discs, like the roofs of a pagoda, around the transparent glass, then closes with a conical cap. Shaft, base and louvres are made of cast aluminium with a black finish.

Bulb and recommended colour temperature

The bollard light is sold without a bulb; its E27 lampholder accepts a maximum of 60 W. As the glass is clear, the bulb remains visible between the louvres: a filament LED of 2200 to 2700 K gives a softer result than a bare cool white bulb. Its IP44 rating protects against rain and splashes from watering. To be connected to an earthed circuit (Class I).

Why choose 73 cm

At 73 cm, the head stands above knee height: it can be spotted from a distance, and the light spreads further than with a low bollard. It remains light at 1.5 kg, with a footprint of 17 cm per side. Reserve it for main paths, the entrance to a garage or the start of an outdoor staircase, and anchor the base on a concrete footing.
