Description

Round lantern on a ribbed base

The light body is an opal polycarbonate cylinder held by slim black uprights, beneath a wide flat cap; a protruding ring surrounds its lower part. The cast aluminium base flares out towards the ground and features vertical ribs. The opal diffuser hides the bulb and reduces glare.

E27 bulb up to 100 W

The E27 lampholder accepts a maximum of 100 W, but the bulb is not supplied. For a light point this low, a low-wattage 2700 K LED is more than enough. The IP44 rating means it can be left out in the rain, in the middle of the garden. Unlike the Stroud wall light, it is Class I and must be connected to earth.

Where to install it

At 36 cm tall and 1.1 kg, it can be fixed to the ground on a paving slab or on top of a low wall, a short pillar or a masonry planter. Several units placed in a row mark out a terrace border; a single one is enough to signal a step or the start of a staircase.
