About this light

A 50 cm garden bollard light shaped like a lantern: the square glazed head sits on a short stem with a hexagonal base. The black finish with a gold patina matches the New Orleans wall lights and floor lamp. Placed on a low wall, a gate pillar or along a path, it marks the way at night.

Description

A lantern on a short stem

The lantern flares towards the top and has four clear glass panes under a faceted roof topped with a finial. It stands on a tapered stem whose hexagonal base acts as the seat. The black aluminium reveals a golden veil on the edges.

Marker lighting

An E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not supplied, fits inside the lantern. To light a path, a low-power LED is enough and can stay on all evening without using much energy. Its IP44 rating protects it from showers. It is Class I and must be connected with an earth.

50 cm high, to be placed on a hard surface

At this height, the bollard light illuminates the ground and the base of the borders without dazzling. Fix it on a flat, hard surface: paving slab, low wall, pillar cap. For a path, space several bollard lights a few metres apart. It weighs 2.1 kg and measures 20.2 cm per side, a footprint to compare with the top of the pillar.
