Chapel black lantern garden bollard light on hexagonal base, 50 cm
About this light
This garden bollard light sets a complete Chapel lantern on a short column and a six-sided base. At 50 cm tall, it stands out above a flower bed while staying in scale with the path it marks out. It can also be placed on a low wall or a gate pillar, on either side of an entrance, to signal the way to the house.
Guarantees and services
Glazed lantern on a short stem
The whole body is made of black die-cast aluminium, guaranteed by the manufacturer for 10 years against corrosion. The square lantern has four clear glass panes, a four-sided roof with slightly rounded slopes and a finial. It rests on a moulded column that widens into a hexagonal base.
Border lighting
Light is emitted on all four sides and illuminates the ground around the bollard as well as nearby plants. E27 lampholder up to 60 W, bulb not included: a low-power LED is enough for marker lighting. The brightness can be adjusted with a dimmer if the chosen bulb allows it. The IP44 rating protects the bollard from rain; just avoid the path of an automatic sprinkler.
Mounting on a low wall or paving slab
With a diameter of 20.5 cm, it weighs 3.15 kg. Fix the base to a flat, hard surface: low wall, pillar or small concrete block in a flower bed. Run the cable through a buried conduit to a junction box suitable for outdoor use; the fitting is Class I, so earthing is mandatory. Along a path, space the bollards 3 to 5 m apart.
