Hornbaek outdoor bollard light in black stainless steel and glass, 30.7 cm

A lacquered stainless steel body and a ringed head

The body is made of 304 stainless steel, painted matt black according to the British retailer, and built to last in all weathers. It sits on a round base plate. At the top, a clear glass cylinder is encircled by three metal rings and topped with a flat cap: these slats act as a protective guard and give the bollard light its striped profile. A clean, unadorned line that suits a contemporary façade as well as a gravel garden.

Low-level light for paths and terraces

An E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included, lights all around the head, close to the ground. Dimming is possible with a dimmable bulb. Choose a warm white LED (2700 K): it gives off little heat and stays discreet in a garden at night. With its IP44 rating, the bollard light withstands rain outdoors; just avoid a hollow where water collects.

Ground mounting and connection

Light at 1.8 kg, the bollard light is fixed by its base plate to a paving slab, a low wall or a concrete block. Class I: an earth connection is mandatory. For a path, allow one bollard light every 2 to 3 m, staggered from one side to the other.
