The Kurt is a single-piece grey metal cylinder set on a circular base plate. At the top, a clear plastic sleeve reveals horizontal louvres that cut the light into bands. A solid dome, in the same colour as the shaft, closes it off and shelters the light source from the rain.

Light all around, at knee height

Light comes out all around the head, through the sleeve and its slats. The E27 cap takes a standard bulb: choose a 2700 K or 3000 K LED for soft lighting in the garden. Rated IP44, the bollard light withstands rain and splashing water; it can stay outside all year, simply avoiding the direct spray of a sprinkler.

Fixing and connection

At 60 cm high, it lights the ground of a path without spoiling the view of the garden. It weighs 2.26 kg and is fixed by its base plate to a concrete foundation or a plinth. As a Class I fitting, it must be earthed, with a cable buried in a duct. Along a path, space several bollard lights a few metres apart for continuous marking.
