Kinsale black hexagonal lantern bollard light on base, 51 cm

Six-sided lantern on a short stand

The head echoes the hexagonal lantern from the Kinsale range, with its faceted cap and pointed finial. It sits on a stem that flares out towards a hexagonal base plate, giving it the look of a pillar lantern. Black polymer for the structure, clear polycarbonate for the six panes: the whole is designed to resist corrosion and impact, even by the sea, and the manufacturer states a 20-year guarantee against corrosion.

Light and IP44 protection

It takes one E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included. Connected to a dimmer, it can be dimmed, with a bulb designed for this. IP44 allows it to withstand rain and splashes: it can stay outdoors all year round. A low-power filament LED is enough to mark a gate without dazzling.

Where to place it

At 23 cm wide and 2.3 kg, it is screwed down by its base plate onto a pillar cap, the end of a low wall or a porch step. Placed as a pair on either side of an entrance, it marks the way at night. Class II: it is connected without an earth conductor.
