A round post topped with a cone

The cylindrical black aluminium post sits on a round base plate. At the top, a conical head offset to one side houses the light source, and a clear glass closes the underside of the cone. The silhouette directly echoes that of the Alba wall light.

Light directed down onto the path

An E27 lampholder takes a bulb of 60 W maximum, not included: choose an E27 LED in 2700 K or 3000 K for a soft light on the paving. The light is directed downwards, which limits glare for passers-by and light wasted towards the sky. IP44 rating: the bollard light withstands rain in the open garden.

Height and positioning

At 60 cm high, it marks out a path at knee height. Along a path, space the bollard lights three to four metres apart; by a door, one on each side is enough. Allow for a hard surface, such as a slab or concrete block, to fix the base plate.
