Capri garden bollard light, bevelled glass lantern, rustic brown

A miniature street lamp in rustic brown aluminium

The post and base are made of cast aluminium, painted in a rustic brown with coppery tones that imitates weathered metal. A moulded collar joins the lantern, whose curved sides are glazed with clear bevelled glass. A pointed dome closes the top and protects the lampholder.

E27 bulb and rain resistance

The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; the bulb is not supplied. A 2700 K filament LED is recommended, as it keeps the look of a flame behind the clear glass. The light level is fixed, with no dimming. Its IP23 rating is modest: it covers falling rain, not splashes or water jets. Keep it away from sprinklers. Class I appliance: the power supply line must include an earth connection.

Installing along a path

At 140 cm high, 23 cm wide and weighing 4 kg, it needs a stable fixing: provide a concrete pad or slab to secure the base, and a buried duct for the cable. Along a path, alternate the bollards on either side for even lighting; at an entrance, one bollard on each side of the gate is enough to mark the way in.
