Venice outdoor bollard light, black lantern with water-effect glass, 45 cm

Overhanging-roof lantern on a square base

The square-section base and the lantern frame are made of black cast aluminium. The four glazed sides use water-effect glass: its uneven surface softens the view of the bulb and makes the light shimmer. The sloping roof, wide and flat at the edges, recalls Asian-inspired lanterns.

E27 bulb of your choice, dimming possible

The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The light is compatible with a dimmer: pair it with a dimmable LED to lower the light on evenings when you dine outdoors. The relief of the glass stands out best with a 2700 K filament LED. The IP44 rating allows it to be used outdoors, exposed to rain, but away from water jets from hoses or sprinklers.

Low format, for a wall or border

At 45 cm high and 23 cm wide, the lantern clearly dominates the base: on a flat low wall or at the corner of a terrace, it acts as a small capping lantern. Fix it to a flat, hard surface, and provide a buried electrical supply or one recessed into the masonry, with an earth wire: the fitting is Class I.
