Steel post and hanging lantern

The steel post, in a rusty brown finish, rises from a flared, faceted base to a height of 110 cm. At the top, a semicircular crook arm holds the lantern: a metal cap covers a clear glass globe. The footprint remains compact, at 21.5 cm wide by 28 cm long.

E27 lampholder and dimmer

The lantern takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied. The light is rated as dimmable: with a dimmable LED bulb and a suitable dimmer, you can lower the light as you wish. The clear glass shows off the bulb, and an amber filament LED adds to the vintage look. IP44 protects it from rain; do not place it in the path of a garden sprinkler jet.

Positioning a 110 cm post

At 110 cm, the lantern lights a wide area and can be seen from a distance: one bollard light at each end of a path or beside a gate is often enough. The base is fixed to a slab or a concrete pad; turn the crook arm towards the path so that the light falls on the walkway.
