Galvanised steel and stacked disc head
The 15 cm diameter column is made of hot-dip galvanised steel, then covered with a black powder coating: this double protection limits rust at the base, where water collects. The head is made of stacked discs, separated by slits of light. Behind them, an opal polycarbonate diffuser hides the bulb and softens the light.
Low-level light for marking paths
Rated IP65, the bollard light withstands rain and sprinkler jets, all year round when installed in the ground. Its E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; remember to buy the bulb, sold separately. A low-power 2700 K E27 LED is enough to mark out a path. Double insulated (Class II), it connects with two conductors, with no earth.
Ground fixing on a concrete base
A concrete base anchor kit comes with the bollard light: pour a small concrete footing, run the cable through a buried duct, then screw down the base plate. It weighs 5.68 kg. Along a path, space the bollard lights 3 to 4 m apart so the pools of light overlap. For a more visible entrance, a taller version exists in the same model.
