About this light

The tall version of the collection, this 85 cm black bollard light raises its crystal glass head to hip height. The light, filtered by a frosted cylinder, spreads wider than a low bollard: it suits an entrance path, a courtyard or the edge of a terrace. The E27 cap takes a bulb, which is not included.

Description

A black column crowned with glass

The black galvanised steel post runs the full height before giving way to a block of clear crystal glass. Inside this block, a frosted tube hides the light source and prevents glare as you walk past. This design is shared with the Arendal wall light and the small bollard light.

Choose your light source, IP65 protection

No bulb is supplied with the bollard light. At this height, an E27 LED slightly brighter than for path marking, up to a limit of 60 W, lights the ground well; a warm white tone remains the most pleasant in the garden. The IP65 rating makes it resistant to dust and water jets. Class II with double insulation, so no earth conductor is needed. It is compatible with a dimmer; the bulb must be too.

Weight and ground fixing

At 85 cm high, 12 cm wide and 13.5 kg on the scales, the bollard light needs a solid ground fixing, on a slab or concrete base. Allow one bollard light every 4 to 6 m for a path that is clearly visible at night.
