Natural pine framed by galvanised steel

The 12 × 12 cm square body is clad in natural pine, with the grain visible in the photo. Two galvanised steel pieces frame it: a base in contact with the ground and the light head, made of parallel slats around a white diffuser. Like any wood left outdoors, the pine will turn grey over time; an exterior wood oil slows this change.

60 W E27 cap, supplied without a bulb

The E27 lampholder takes a 60 W bulb, sold separately; a 2700 K LED is enough to light the path. The IP65 rating protects against driving rain and water jets from watering. It is Class II, with no earth connection.

Height and installation on a plinth

At 85 cm, the light starts from high enough to cover the path and the first steps generously. The bollard light weighs 7.79 kg and is fixed to a concrete plinth, with the cable run through a conduit. Avoid direct contact between the wood and damp soil or mulch: let the metal base make the junction with the ground.
