About this light

Large all-metal garden bollard light in galvanised steel, 85 cm tall. Its square matt grey column ends in a lantern with horizontal slats that filters the light from an opal diffuser. Taller than the small version, it lights a garage drive or main entrance better, and stays visible from the street.

Description

A matt grey steel column

The 12 cm square post is made entirely of galvanised steel. There is no wooden cladding here: the metal stays exposed from the ground to the cap. At the top, thin stacked slats frame an opal polycarbonate screen that hides the lampholder.

Filtered light, IP65 protection

The E27 cap takes a 60 W bulb, sold separately. Opt for a warm white LED (2700 K) instead: it runs cooler and reduces consumption over long evenings. Thanks to its IP65 rating, the bollard light withstands downpours, sleet and water jets. Double insulation (Class II): no earth wire is needed.

Plinth fixing

An anchoring kit to be set in concrete is included. The data sheet states a weight of 7.6 kg. Position the bollard light set back from the edge of the drive so that a car does not catch it, and allow 4 to 5 m between two light points.
