The matt black base, measuring 12 × 12 cm, supports a cage of horizontal louvres beneath a flat cap. Behind them, the opal polycarbonate diffuser conceals the bulb and spreads the light on all four sides.

IP65: rain and water jets

IP65 rating: this bollard light stands up to rain and water jets, so it can be placed next to a watered lawn or an area that is hosed down. The E27 cap takes a 60 W bulb, which is not supplied; choose a 2700 K E27 LED. Class II, connection without earth.

Ground-level installation

It weighs 4.31 kg despite its small size. Its low height limits glare: the light stays on the ground and the steps. Plan for a stable base, such as a concrete block or slab, and a duct for the cable. On an outdoor staircase, one bollard light at the top and one at the bottom is often enough.
