Large Chelsea Copper Half Wall Lantern with Finial, 61 cm

Half of a street lantern

Seen from the front, it resembles the large freestanding Chelsea lanterns: trapezoidal polycarbonate panels, corners decorated with small finials, sloping roof, copper dome and finial. Only the back is flattened for fixing to the wall. According to Netlighting, the copper is shaped by hand and develops a natural patina over time.

Light: one E27 bulb up to 60 W

The lantern takes one E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included; choose a dimmable one if you want to connect it to a dimmer. Rated IP44, it withstands rain on a facade without a canopy. Its double insulation (Class II) means no earth conductor is needed.

25 cm wide, weighing 2.57 kg

At 61 cm high and 25 cm wide, it suits main entrances and tall facades. For a door, allow one lantern on each side, with the centre of the panels at eye level or slightly above. Its weight remains modest for a wall fixing.
