The post and the lantern are made of thick steel, hot-dip galvanised and then covered with a black powder coating. The inside of the cap is white, a contrast that is visible as soon as you get close. The clear polycarbonate lens is held by black bars and horizontal rings; a round base finishes the post at ground level.

Bulb and protection

The lantern takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, which is not supplied. Choose it carefully, as it can be seen through the lens. IP54 rating: protected against dust and splashing water, in rain or sunshine. No earth connection is needed, as the lamp is Class II. On a dimmer, it requires a dimmable bulb.

Installation on a base

At 27 cm wide and weighing 4.77 kg, it is screwed onto a concrete block. Run the cable in a conduit to the centre of the base. Along a path, line up several posts every 4 to 5 m.
