Black lacquered steel

The body is made of thick hot-dip galvanised steel, then powder-coated black for the colour. Under the black cap, the white inner face reflects the light. The cylindrical base sits on a screw-fixed plate; the clear polycarbonate cover is surrounded by flat rings.

What you need to light it

One E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, to be purchased separately. With its IP54 rating, the lantern is not affected by dust or by rain splashing against it. Class II means no earthing is required. It can be used with a dimmer, paired with a dimmable bulb.

On a pillar or a low wall

It weighs 2.12 kg and measures 27 cm wide at the cap: a standard pillar top is sufficient. Fix the plate with wall plugs and provide a cable outlet in the centre. For a gate with two pillars, one lantern on each side balances the entrance.
