Cast aluminium lantern with X-bar glazing

The body is cast aluminium in an antique bronze finish, a dark brown with coppery highlights. Each seeded glass pane is crossed by an X-shaped bar, a motif taken from traditional town lanterns. The curved, tiered roof ends in a finial; below, a moulded stem rests on a square base.

E27 bulb and IP44 protection

The E27 lampholder accepts a maximum of 60 W, bulb not included. A clear filament bulb in 2700 K suits the seeded glass and the bronze. The IP44 rating protects it from rain: it can stay in place all year round on top of a pier, without shelter. Class I: earthing required.

On a pier or a low wall

It measures 45.7 cm high by 19.1 cm in diameter and weighs 2.61 kg. Its square base fixes onto a pier cap, a low wall or the top of outdoor steps. As a pair, it marks both sides of a gate; plan the cable entry in the centre of the support.
