Beacon Square outdoor wall lantern, white, ribbed glass, small size

Overhanging roof and small panes

The lantern is attached to a tall backplate by a short horizontal arm. Its flat roof, with stepped edges, overhangs a square cage. On each side, crossbars form a grid: large panes at the top and bottom, a row of small panes in the middle. The glass, rippled like the surface of water, softens the view of the bulb. The whole composite structure is white.

One E27 of up to 60 W, IP44

The single lampholder accepts 60 W at most and the bulb is not supplied. A dimmer can control it if the bulb allows. The roof blocks light upwards: it comes out through the four glazed sides and lights the surrounding wall. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for use in the rain, on a facade or a boundary wall. Class I: an earthed supply is required.

Compact size

It measures 30.2 cm high and 16.5 cm wide, projects 19 cm and weighs 1.85 kg. For a standard door, fit one on each side, with the centre of the lantern at about 1.70 m from the ground. The medium model, which is taller, is better suited to a wide front door.
