A white lantern with geometric lines
Everything here is straight: tall backplate, horizontal arm, two-tier flat roof, square cage. The glazing bars form two rows of large panes separated by a band of small panes, a pattern borrowed from Arts & Crafts architecture. The glass is hollowed with ripples that diffuse the light and hide the bulb. Its all-white composite structure stands out against a stone, brick or dark-coloured facade.
Light to the sides and downwards
A bulb of up to 60 W with an E27 cap fits inside the cage; it is not included. The manufacturer states it is dimmer-compatible: in that case choose a dimmable LED. The roof directs the light downwards and onto the glass, with no glow towards the sky. Protected to IP44, the wall light withstands rain on a front wall as well as under a porch; Class I, earth connection required.
Fitting on a facade
Height 35.9 cm, width 20.3 cm, projection 22.8 cm and weight 2.75 kg: fix it to a solid wall using expansion anchors. Placed next to the door, its roof can line up roughly with the top of the door frame.
