Glazing bars and stepped roof
The flat, tiered roof tops a cage whose sides are each divided into panes by glazing bars: two large panes at the top, a band of small ones in the middle, two large ones at the bottom. The glass is rippled. The antique bronze shade of the composite body, brown with a slight green tinge, pairs well with wooden shutters or a stone façade.
Light diffused through all four sides
The fitting takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately. It is compatible with a dimmer, provided a dimmable LED bulb is fitted. The solid roof stops light from escaping towards the sky; it passes through the glass and falls towards the doorstep. The IP44 rating allows installation outdoors where exposed to rain, against the façade or under a canopy. Class I: connection with an earth wire.
Fixing and mounting height
Allow 35.9 cm in height, 20.3 cm in width and a projection of 22.8 cm, for 2.75 kg to be supported by the wall: solid masonry and suitable wall plugs are preferable. For a front door, the top of the lantern can sit roughly level with the lintel.
