Dock lamp shade and bubbled glass
The design recalls harbour and workshop lamps. A rectangular backplate carries a curved arm, joined to the light by a bracket. Underneath, a flared conical lampshade tops a glass cylinder dotted with bubbles, which lets the bulb show through. The body is made of composite, stated by the manufacturer to be weather-resistant, and covered with a paint that imitates brushed steel.
Exposed bulb, light directed downwards
The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, which must be purchased separately. It is also compatible with a dimmer, using a dimmable LED bulb. The shade throws the light down towards the ground, while the glass lets it spill out to the sides. As the bulb remains visible, a filament LED suits it well. IP44: the lantern withstands rain on a façade or under a canopy, and the collection is also designed for indoor use. Class I, with earth wire. The manufacturer states a 5-year guarantee.
Compact size, 1.98 kg
At 27.3 cm high, 22.9 cm wide and with a projection of 27.1 cm, it stays light at 1.98 kg. Place it to one side of the door, at about eye level, or above an outdoor worktop.
