The Glenview in medium size

The same design as the small model, on a larger scale: a slim cast aluminium frame in an antique bronze finish, clear glass panes at the front and sides, and a solid back that reflects the light forward. The roof is made of two stacked tiers and carries a rectangular handle, a nod to the lanterns once carried by hand. Gold edging picks out the edges.

E27 lampholder and IP44 rating

The lantern takes one 60 W E27 bulb, to be purchased separately. A dimmer can control the lantern, provided the bulb is dimmable. As nothing conceals the light source, opt for a decorative bulb: globe or filament, in warm white. The IP44 rating allows it to withstand rain on an exposed façade or under a porch. It is Class I: an earth connection is mandatory.

Width, projection and weight

It measures 30.7 cm high and 19.7 cm wide, and projects 21.5 cm from the wall. At 3.15 kg, fix it to a masonry wall or a solid support rather than lightweight cladding. To frame a front door, place one lantern on each side, at the same height.
