The glass cylinder is held by a silver-grey frame with slim uprights, encircled by two rings. Above it, a stepped round cap ends in a small openwork dome; below, a moulded base widens out. The lantern is carried by a short arm fixed to a rectangular backplate. The composite structure has a painted brushed steel finish in a satin light grey, which goes well with white or grey joinery or a light render.

An E27 bulb under a glass cylinder

The lantern takes one 60 W E27 bulb, sold separately. The light fitting is stated as dimmer compatible; the bulb must then be dimmable too. Light is emitted around the whole circumference of the cylinder, towards the doorstep and the wall. IP44 rating: it can be installed on a façade, exposed to rain, or under a roof overhang. Class I, it must be connected to a supply with an earth.

Compact size of 22.9 cm

At 15.9 cm wide and projecting 19.3 cm, weighing 1.62 kg, it is easy to fix to a masonry wall. Allow about 1.70 m between the ground and the bottom of the lantern for a front door.
