Newport antique bronze outdoor wall lantern, bubbled glass, 22.9 cm

Patinated bronze and bubbled glass

In this version, the Newport takes on a new character: the antique bronze finish, dark with coppery highlights, replaces the steel grey, and the glass becomes clear, dotted with tiny bubbles. The bulb remains visible and the glass makes the light sparkle slightly. The composite frame, double ring, open-work cap and moulded base keep the lighthouse silhouette of the range, on a rectangular wall plate.

Visible bulb, to be chosen with care

The E27 lampholder takes a 60 W bulb, not included. As it is visible, a filament LED in a pear or Edison shape in 2700 K gives the best result, in a dimmable version if you install a dimmer, which the lantern accepts. IP44 protection means it can be installed outdoors, on a wall in the rain or under a canopy. The lantern is Class I and must be connected to an earthed circuit.

Dimensions of the small size

It measures 22.9 cm high, 15.9 cm wide and 19.3 cm deep, and weighs 1.62 kg. This discreet size works well as a pair, on either side of a door, at roughly shoulder height.
