Quay lantern in a medium size

This mid-size model echoes the spirit of quayside and railway station lanterns. Riveted uprights frame bubbled glass panes with arched tops, at the front and on the sides. Above, the openwork chimney and ring handle add a few centimetres of height and a silhouette recognisable from afar. Applied to a composite body, the oxidised copper patina ranges from rosy copper to dark brown depending on the light.

An E27 bulb behind bubbled glass

The E27 lampholder takes a 60 W bulb, not supplied with the lantern. The glass, dotted with bubbles, scatters reflections: a clear warm-toned LED, pear-shaped and dimmable if you fit a dimmer, suits it well. Protected to IP44, it can be installed on a façade, exposed to the weather, or under a porch. Class I: earthed connection required.

Proportions and fixing

It is 41.3 cm high and 18.7 cm wide, projects 18.6 cm and weighs 2.88 kg; fix it to a solid wall using suitable wall plugs. For a front door, its top can line up roughly with the top of the door frame.
