Swan-neck bracket and glass cage

What differs from the small model: the lantern is not mounted flat against the backplate, but hangs by its ring from a swan-neck bracket. The pointed roof and the backplate, in cast aluminium, keep their hammered surface and aged black patina. The four bubble glass panels diffuse the light and partly conceal the bulb.

Dimensions for a large façade

45 cm high with a projection of 22.1 cm: the lantern is visible from afar, on a house wall or a gate pillar. It weighs 3.65 kg; screw the backplate into a solid support using wall plugs suited to this weight. Position the top of the lantern level with the top of the door to keep the proportions right.

Bulb, wattage and weather resistance

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of 60 W maximum, sold separately. For a flame-like effect, choose a warm white filament LED, around 2700 K, dimmable so you can use the dimmer it accepts. Rated IP44, the lantern withstands rain and splashes; an overhanging roof protects it further. Class I appliance, to be connected to earth.
