The light section combines a grooved metal ring with a clear cap from which the light emerges. It extends an aluminium stem with a bevelled base, to be pushed straight into the soil; the black cable exits from the side of the stem.

Ambient light, IP54

The retailer classes this light as ambient lighting: it does not cast a beam but marks a point of light. The LED is integrated, included, and gives a single level of light, using 0.6 W. With its IP54 rating, the light can stay outdoors all year round, in the rain as well as in the dust of a dry flower bed.

Adding to an existing installation

No transformer is mentioned for this item, which is sold individually: it connects to the low-voltage system of a Collect & Connect kit, to which it adds a point of light. Place several lights in a line along a path, at regular intervals, to trace the way.
