About this light

The Edgeware is a rust brown stainless steel outdoor wall light with a motion sensor, combining a clear cylinder framed in metal with a wide flat cap. The motion sensor, positioned beneath the mounting arm, switches the lantern on as you approach. It suits a front door, a garage door or a side passage of a house.

Description

Banded cylinder and wide cap

The stainless steel body in a rust brown finish carries a clear cylinder held in place by slim vertical rods and two rings. Above it, a flat cap extends well beyond the cylinder and protects the top of the lantern. The arm, fixed to a round backplate, houses the sensor unit.

Sensor and E27 bulb

The lantern takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. A low-wattage filament LED is usually enough. The motion sensor controls switching on. Rated IP44, it withstands rain and water splashes, though it is best installed under an eave.

Dimensions and mounting height

32.1 cm high, 21 cm wide and 22 cm projection, weighing 1 kg. For the sensor to cover the approach properly, install it at about 1.80 to 2 m above the ground, facing the path or steps.
