The body is a black resin tube, set on a circular base plate to be fixed to the ground. The top of the body holds a frosted white sleeve, closed by a flat black cap. According to the retailer, the resin of the body and the diffuser resists corrosion and the finish is UV-treated, which limits fading in the sun.

An E27 lampholder to light a pathway

The bollard light accepts an E27 bulb of 23 W maximum. A standard-shaped LED is enough to light a path; choose a 2700 K or 3000 K colour temperature for a soft, warm light in the garden. The IP55 rating means protection against dust and against water jets: the bollard light can stay outdoors all year round, in the ground or on a paving slab.

Dimensions and positioning

At 80 cm high and 15.5 cm in diameter, it lights the ground at knee height without blocking the view of the garden. Along a path, allow roughly one bollard light every 3 to 4 m, staggered if the path is wide. The power supply arrives via a cable buried in a duct: have the connection carried out by an electrician.
