About this light

A white bollard light for the garden, made of resin, that lights the foot of a façade, an outdoor staircase or the edge of a path. The 80 cm white shaft continues into an opal cylinder along its entire upper section: the light shines out at the sides, softened by the diffuser. It takes an E27 screw-in bulb.

Description

White resin treated against UV

The whole body is made of white resin, from the circular base to the cap that closes the diffuser. The British retailer states that this resin is corrosion-resistant and that its colour is stabilised by a UV treatment: a useful point for a white finish exposed to full sun. Against a light render or on dark ground, the bollard light stands out by day and by night.

Diffused light around the head

An E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of 23 W maximum. For simple path marking, a low-power LED is more than enough. With its IP55 rating, the bollard light withstands dust, driving rain and water spray from watering: it can stay in the garden in all seasons.

80 cm high, 15.5 cm footprint

The shaft is 15.5 cm in diameter at ground level and 80 cm high: enough to light the steps of a porch or the paving of a courtyard without hiding the plants. Fix the base plate onto a concrete block and bring the power in through a cable buried under a red duct, to be connected by a professional.
