A black line in the garden

The bollard reads as a vertical line: a rectangular black body, a base plate at the foot and a head cut at an angle at the top. The diffuser sits on the underside of the head. The matt black of the aluminium and plastic blends in among the plants and goes well with black window and door frames.

Low-level light in 3000 K

An integrated 8.5 W LED gives 950 lm at 3000 K. Placed low, the source lights the ground and borders rather than the whole garden. The light output cannot be adjusted. Its IP54 rating allows it to stay outdoors over winter without protection.

Installation and power supply

At 50 cm high and weighing 1.02 kg, it is fixed by its base plate to a masonry support. Allow for an outdoor supply line with earth, as the bollard is Class I, and a cable buried in conduit. In a flower bed, bring it forward to the front row so that foliage does not block the light.
