About this light

This 73 cm black garden bollard light features a square aluminium post topped with a glazed lantern head fitted with a white diffuser. It is tall enough to mark out a garage driveway, an access path or a house entrance by lighting the ground around it. A GU10 bulb is required.

Description

A slender square post

The black aluminium body forms a plain column with a 7.5 cm square section. The top segment opens on all four sides: a slim frame surrounds a matt white polycarbonate diffuser, which gives a soft, diffused light rather than a bright point. This is the tall version of the Avenue range, which also includes a shorter bollard light and a wall light with motion sensor.

Lighting requirements

The bollard light accepts a GU10 bulb of up to 10 W, not supplied. Choose a 2700 K or 3000 K LED for a soft light along the path. This model cannot be dimmed. The IP44 rating ensures resistance to rain and light watering; just avoid placing it in a flood-prone area or in the direct spray of a sprinkler.

Positioning in the garden

Standing 73 cm tall and weighing 1.1 kg, it is fixed to a concrete base or a slab. Along a path, space the bollard lights about 3 to 5 m apart for even marking.
