About this light

This small black garden bollard light stands 60 cm tall, ideal for marking out a border or a short flight of steps without dominating the planting. The square post ends in an overhanging head: the GX53 light sits beneath this overhang, facing the ground. Discreet by day, it casts crisp pools of light on a timber deck or a stepping-stone path.

Description

Black aluminium and straight lines

Black aluminium and metal form a post 10 cm wide. A head 15 cm deep crowns the top and hides the light source from view. The low version keeps the same sharp angles as the taller one.

Choosing your GX53 lamps

You will need a GX53 lamp, 9 W maximum per lamp, sold separately. For a simple waymarker, low-energy GX53 LED lamps are suitable. Its IP65 rating means it can be used outdoors, exposed to bad weather and water jets.

Anchoring and wiring

The base plate is bolted onto a concrete base or an existing slab, with the cable routed underneath. Class I: connect the earth. Weighing 1.55 kg, the bollard light can be fitted by one person. Near an outdoor staircase, position it at the foot of the first step so the light travels up over the stair nosings.
