A straight column on a hexagonal base

The shaft, straight and fluted in the photo, rises from a hexagonal base and ends under the lantern with a collar. The tulip globe, in clear, textured blown glass, is topped with a scalloped cap and a finial. Netlighting states that the rusty bronze patina is applied by hand.

Lighting a pathway

An E27 bulb of up to 100 W, not supplied, fits inside the lantern. The clear glass shows the bulb: a 2700 K filament LED stays discreet and energy-efficient for path lighting. The IP44 rating means it can be left out in the rain. It is not dimmable. Class I, with earth connection.

Installation

It measures 23.5 cm at its widest point and weighs 3.7 kg. Anchor it to a concrete pad or slab and run the power supply through buried conduit. At the foot of a garden staircase, place one at each end to mark the steps.
