Two lanterns on a T-shaped crossbar
The post, crossbar and lanterns are made of black die-cast aluminium, guaranteed for 10 years against corrosion according to the manufacturer. The crossbar carries a lantern at each end, with a central finial at the junction; each lantern has four clear glass panes and a four-sided roof. The post, punctuated with rings, rises from a tall pedestal with a hexagonal base.
Two light sources across a 60 cm span
The two E27 lampholders each take up to 60 W; bulbs are not included. Both lanterns work with a dimmer, provided the bulbs are dimmable. The whole fitting has a diameter of 60 cm, spreading the light on both sides of the post. Its IP44 rating means it can stay outdoors in the rain, but it cannot withstand jets from a pressure washer.
Anchoring a 10.66 kg floor lamp
This weight and height call for a solid concrete base fitted with anchor bolts. Sheathe the cable before pouring the concrete and provide an earth connection, as the fitting is Class I. Keep it away from low branches, which would block the light from the lanterns.
