Sphere garden floor lamp, 28 cm clear acrylic globe, E27

A clear globe on a black base

The clear acrylic ball shows the lampholder and the bulb, so its look depends greatly on the bulb you choose. A filament bulb creates a point of light at the centre; an opal bulb fills the globe with a more even light. The support and the fitting sleeve are made of black aluminium.

E27 cap, 100 W, IP44

The fitting takes a bulb with an E27 cap, for a stated power of 100 W. For a garden, a 2700 K E27 LED is more than enough and uses little energy. With its IP44 rating, the head withstands rain and can be placed in the open.

Post mounting

The head measures 28 cm in diameter by 36 cm high and weighs 1.12 kg. It is mounted on top of a pole or post, which is not described in the specifications of this product. Class I appliance, must be earthed; for a buried cable run, have the connection made by an electrician.
