Kerry black garden lamp post on pole, 191 cm

Slender pole and four-pane lantern

At the top of a slim shaft, the lantern keeps the finial roof and the four clear sides of the other Kerry models. The foot widens at the bottom into a six-sided base that provides stability. The black polymer resists corrosion and impacts: this light is designed for coastal regions. According to the manufacturer's text, the anti-corrosion guarantee is 20 years.

Lighting for courtyards and paths

Perched at the top of the pole, the E27 bulb (up to 60 W, not included) casts its light far around the base. A dimmer lets you lower the light level, with a suitable bulb. The IP44 rating ensures it withstands rain in the open air, without shelter.

Installation

The light is 25.5 cm wide and weighs 4.19 kg; its base needs a flat, solid footing, usually a concrete pad. It is Class II: no earth conductor. For a path, allow one lamp post every 8 to 10 m; at an entrance, place it a step from the gate rather than in the centre of the passage.
