About this light

Description

Slim post and leaded-glass lantern

The smooth, slender post rises from a flared base and carries the Norfolk lantern: curved pavilion roof, pointed finial, and glazed sides made of pieces of clear glass joined with lead by hand around a diamond. The black-finish cast aluminium is guaranteed against corrosion by the manufacturer.

E27 path lighting

E27 lampholder, bulb of 60 W maximum to be added. To mark out a path, a low-power warm white LED limits glare, and the floor lamp accepts a dimmer if the LED is dimmable. The IP44 rating covers rain and splashes from watering, not jets: keep it away from areas cleaned with a pressure washer. Class I, earthing is essential.

Positioning along a path

109 cm high and 18.4 cm in diameter, it weighs 1.89 kg. Fix the base to a concrete block or a slab so that it stays upright, and space several floor lamps a few metres apart along the path. Run the buried cable in a duct up to the base.
