Straight post and glazed lantern
The stem is a plain, straight tube that leaves all the attention to the lantern set at its top. The lantern follows the Parish series styling: clear glass, slim uprights, a curved roof and a pointed finial. At the foot, a moulded hexagonal base widens the footing. The whole piece is made of black cast aluminium.
A standard-cap light source
The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W. No bulb is supplied with the package. For a path, a low-wattage LED is enough and keeps consumption down if the floor lamp stays on for part of the night; if you choose a dimmable one, it can also be controlled by a dimmer. IP44: the lantern withstands rain and watering, but is not designed for a direct jet of water.
Positioning along a path
It measures 104 cm high and 23 cm in diameter, and weighs 2.9 kg. Allow for a concrete pad or slab to screw the base to, and a buried duct to bring in the cable. Along a path, space several floor lamps a few metres apart so that the pools of light meet. As the light is Class I, the earth must be connected.
