The black cast aluminium post, marked with a ring at mid-height, splits at the top into two short arms. Each carries a hexagonal glazed lantern with a curved roof and a pointed finial; a decorative finial crowns the central junction. At the bottom, a widened faceted base gives the whole piece its stability.

Double light source for large spaces

Each lantern has its own E27 lampholder, for a bulb of up to 60 W, so two bulbs to be bought separately. Choose identical ones for even lighting on both sides, and dimmable if the floor lamp is controlled by a dimmer. The IP44 rating allows it to withstand rain in the open garden, far from any shelter.

Concrete foundation essential

At 228 cm tall, with a 65 cm span at the lanterns and weighing 10.08 kg, this floor lamp requires a foundation: a poured concrete block to bolt it down securely, and a buried conduit leading to the consumer unit. Earth connection is compulsory (Class I). Leave sufficient clearance around the lanterns for branches and passage.
