A 118 cm post topped with a lantern

The straight shaft links a faceted base to the lantern: a U-shaped hoop frames the polycarbonate globe, topped with a pointed cap with a finial. The black finish recalls harbour lamp posts, in a scaled-down version. The polymer is chosen for its resistance to impact and corrosion; the anti-corrosion guarantee stated by the manufacturer is 20 years.

Lighting a path in the evening

Placed at hip height, the globe casts light around the post and onto the path surface. An E27 bulb of up to 60 W screws in; it must be bought separately, and a warm white LED is enough for a path. The light accepts a dimmer with a bulb designed for it. IP44 rating: it can stay outdoors in the rain, without shelter. Class II, no earthing required.

Positioning and connection

With a diameter of 25 cm, its footprint is small. Fix the base onto a stable bed or slab and bring the cable in through buried conduit. Along a path, placing one every 4 to 6 m gives continuous lighting.
