A slim column topped with a lantern

The square lantern, with a pointed finial and curved roof, is fixed to the top of a smooth cylindrical column. At the bottom, the foot flares out onto a faceted base. The clear rippled glass panes are cut into five pieces per side, joined with lead by hand according to the retailer, with a central diamond. Cast aluminium with a black patina, silver on the corners and mouldings.

Bulb, glass and rain

A single E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum; the bulb is to be purchased separately. If you choose a dimmable bulb, it can be controlled with a dimmer. Choose a warm white LED to keep the light soft along the path. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for staying outdoors all year round in the rain, but not for withstanding a jet of water.

Positioning along a path

The floor lamp weighs 2.16 kg and is 15.9 cm in diameter. For a path, allow one light point every 4 to 6 m, alternating sides if the path is wide. Provide a concrete block or slab to anchor it to the ground. Class I: earthing is mandatory.
